Current Evidence & Limits
Public orientation to the current RI supportability boundary — October 2026
Purpose
This page is a public orientation and routing statement for the current RI Safety Layer.
It is not canonical evidence, an independent validation report, a certification, a readiness approval, or a claim that a public link proves the proposition it describes.
Its purpose is to make the present public claim boundary easier to recover without exposing controlled or restricted material.
Current implementation
Measurement and publication governance remain foundational, but they do not exhaust the current implementation.
The present technical object also contains bounded surfaces for:
- derived interpretation and comparison
- controlled review and inspection
- bounded human stewardship and action records
These surfaces have different authority. Derived interpretation is not canonical evidence; a human record does not rewrite an already-computed metric; and neither acquires publication authority merely by existing.
Reproducibility boundary
RI supports a bounded reproducibility claim:
given fixed recorded evidence, a fixed evaluation method, and the same relevant configuration, deterministic evaluation outputs can be re-derived.
This is distinct from live-model generation.
The current public claim does not assert that repeating a live model session will reproduce the same interaction, nor that complete end-to-end repeat-run evidentiary closure is currently established.
Verification boundary
Integrity and provenance checks can establish bounded properties of the evidence and records to which those checks apply.
They do not make every interpretation, behavioural proposition, or human judgement automatically true.
Keep distinct:
- canonical evidence
- derived representation or interpretation
- integrity and provenance verification
- human judgement or stewardship
- publication governance
Access to canonical evidence may be controlled. Public representation is not a substitute for canonical evidence.
Current supportability boundary
The current technical and evidential state can support credible bounded technical diligence.
It does not by itself establish:
- independent external validation
- institutional or operational readiness
- pilot approval
- assurance or certification sufficiency
- jurisdiction-specific legal or compliance sufficiency
Those questions require separate evidence, context, and authority.
Robustness and anti-gaming boundary
The architecture can use varied probe families, preserved evidence traces, and explicit criteria rather than relying on a single score.
That is an architectural and design property. It is not a general empirical claim that benchmark gaming has been eliminated or that durable behavioural robustness has been established.
Public inspection routes
The following public materials provide different forms of orientation. Their existence does not validate every proposition made elsewhere.
- Evaluation Walkthrough — fixed illustrative sample data; not a live evaluation and not browser-side cryptographic verification.
- Technical Paper — technical framing with its own stated limitations and review posture.
- Test Hypothesis & Protocol — a draft protocol, not a completed independent validation record.
- System Evolution — current public architectural orientation.
- Foundations — current public distinction between measurement, interpretation, governance, and human action.
Deeper diligence
Some underlying evidence and technical records are controlled rather than public by default.
A bounded diligence route may therefore require authorised access and context rather than publication of the underlying material.

Summary
Supportability is not readiness. Verification is not interpretation. First-party review is not independent validation. Public representation is not canonical evidence.
